WELDMAN series of Thyristorised Welding Rectifiers are fully electronically regulated transformer rectifier unit having constant current characteristic, suitable for manual metal arc welding and as a power source for TIG welding and Gouging.The machines have been designed to ensure good quality of welding even by a beginner. The use of technically best suited raw materials along with innovative design makes them very reliable and suited for continuous heavy duty operation.
The unit is housed in a sturdy sheet metal casing, suitably ventilated, having four wheel, two of which are swiveling and are complete with a handle for easy movement. The machine is provided with lifting hooks for transportation by crane.Other optional accessories like remote control and power factor correction capacitor can also be provide at extra cost.

- Wide Range – Wide range of machines form 200 Amps to 2400 Amps to suit both manual welding and gauging needs.
- Vertical Current Characteristics – ensure constant current even when the arc length varies due to uneven hand movement.
- Immunity to Voltage Fluctuation – the built in line voltage compensation ensures steady welding current while the input voltage changes form 345 to 457 volt (Tap).
- High Open Circuit Voltage- without increasing the KVA of the machine, results in low consumption of power and connected load.
- Hot Start – facility is available to get additional welding current for a short period to re-melt the crater, avoiding slag inclusion, also helpful in starting the weld when the job and the electrode are cold.
- Anti Stick – helps in avoiding electrode sticking to the job.
- Close Tolerance – ensures smooth, stable arc with low ripple for consistent X-Ray quality welding.
- Positive Arc Striking- with any type of electrode because of high open circuit voltage.
- Low Power Consumption- ensures easy accessibility of parts for maintenance.
- PCB- The pcb of this machine is clip on type, this reduces the downtime of maintenance and is housed in a dust and vermin proof enclosure for longer life.
- Single Range – the welding current is infinitely variable in single range.
- Digital Ammeter- provided for easy knowledge of weld parameters.
- Protections – the units are protected against overheating, fan failure, short circuit, of output terminals, single phasing, unbalance of input supply.
- Edge Winding – Edge wound secondary using electrolytic grade of conductor ensures continuous trouble free heavy duty operation and longer life.
- Multi Operator – We manufacture varieties of multi-operator system both in conventional resistance box design and thyristorised type. The number of operators can be 2 to 12. These canbe either cubical type with multi transformers or one transformer design. We can offer system to suit your exact requirement.
